It’s been a busy few weeks for new hotels, so while picking just a few to take a closer look at was a tough decision, the trio we’ve profiled shows that innovation continues around the world. entire.
Conrad Hotel Nashville
First, earlier this month, Hilton cut the ribbon for the highly anticipated Conrad Hotel Nashville. The 234-key tower marks the debut of the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand in Music City in the United States.
The hotel is home to 24 stylish suites, five wellness rooms, an expansive fitness center, three dining experiences curated by restaurant development firm Blau & Associates, a chic poolside retreat, and 17,000 sq. squares of elegant meeting and event space.
Champalimaud Design’s interior design fuses Tennessee inspirations with modern touches, like the double-height lobby anchored by a spiral staircase with a satin brass balustrade inspired by musical instruments.

Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok
The Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok is another “first”, this time being the first Asian launch for IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette luxury and lifestyle brand. The hotel group has teamed up with property developer Siam Sindhorn Co Ltd to bring this 393-room site to life.
Designed by Eight Inc to showcase contemporary design, relaxed elegance and striking local art, all rooms feature oversized Karl Lagerfeld toiletries and modern comforts such as Fritz Hansen’s iconic Drop chairs . The fitness center offers panoramic city views, as does the Horizon Pool, located on the 18th floor. A minimalist lobby space has been enhanced by local design studio, P49 Dedesign, using Bangkok’s tram history to create a treasured sense of place.
Three new eclectic dining offerings include atmospheric bar The Black Cat Thai Liquor, Bangkok’78, which showcases the city’s greatest culinary hits in a retro-inspired concept, while Sip & Co. is a chic addition to the thriving cafe culture in Langsuan.
Asher & Roost Apartment Hotel
Also this month, the first Florida location of the upscale extended-stay concept Roost Apartment Hotel joined the new Water Street Tampa development. Bridging boutique hotel and apartment-style living, Roost Tampa marks the Roost brand’s fifth location, and largest to date, with 97 studio, one- and two-bedroom and co-living units across six floors at Asher, a new residential tower designed by Morris Adjmi Architects.
The property inaugurates the brand’s first cohabitation units, allowing Roost guests to experience a communal living environment. The four- and eight-bedroom units have a shared common space with a living room, full-size kitchen, and washer-dryer. The two shared accommodations have a large shared balcony with a large dining table, while some rooms have a private balcony and/or a private bathroom. Each co-living unit can be rented per individual room or as a cohesive four- or eight-bedroom suite for larger groups.
A 30,000 square foot amenity floor features Water Street Tampa’s largest rooftop pool deck with cabanas, outdoor kitchens, an indoor-outdoor bar and entertainment lawn, and an indoor media lounge , an entertainment lounge and a state-of-the-art fitness center with indoor and outdoor spaces and a coworking lounge with private conference rooms.
The brand will continue its US expansion later this year with the opening of locations in Detroit, Baltimore and Charleston.
