Radisson signs 239-key hotel in Beijing’s new airport
Global hospitality giant Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its presence in the Chinese capital after reaching an agreement to open a new property at Beijing Daxing International Airport.
Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022, the Radisson Hotel Beijing Daxing Airport will place its guests in the airport economic zone of what is expected to become one of the busiest airports in the world.
Ready in time for the 2022 Winter Olympics
This upscale hotel will be part of a major mixed-use development – comprising hotels, upscale offices and stores – which is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification upon completion. The contemporary property hopes to welcome athletes and participants to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Designed for business and leisure
The newly constructed hotel will feature 239 guest rooms and suites that integrate modern amenities into contemporary interiors, with thoughtful details like Radisson’s signature sleeping experience. Facilities here are to include an indoor pool, yoga room, and gym, as well as retail outlets, an all-day restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and lobby lounge.
With a focus on its MICE offering, the hotel will also include six function spaces, including four meeting rooms, a conference room and a ballroom with a capacity of 300, as well as a business center. and a VIP reception area.
Beijing Daxing International Airport designed by Zaha Hadid Architects opened in September 2019 and already serves all major Chinese airlines and several international carriers.
