Mr. Crisp combines a casual seafood atmosphere with fine dining
Mr Crisp is the latest concept from the team behind The anchoragebringing a casual full-service seafood restaurant to the new Village of Overbrook at 1503 E. North St.
The restaurant, which opened over Memorial Day weekend, pays homage to classic coastal seafood shacks in both its bright atmosphere and menu.
Diners can expect the typical fare of any seafood joint, high end or not – oysters on the half shell, for example, or shelled prawns. Mussels, fish sandwiches, fried oysters and more grace the menu, which is headed up by Executive Chef Alex Morgan, with Emily Makowski serving as Front Desk Manager.
But if the restaurant’s name gives any indication of where it focuses, Mr. Crisp places particular emphasis on crispy fish and chips, inspired by executive chef Greg McPhee’s early years in fish and chip restaurants. in Toronto.

Mr. Crisp is open Wednesdays and Thursdays for dinner only, with lunch and dinner service Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
