Kimpton expands in Thailand | Weekly TTR
BANGKOK, November 22, 2021: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, one of the six brands in the Luxury & Lifestyle Collection of IHG Hotels & Resorts, unveils its latest project Kimpton Khao Yai.
This is IHG’s third Kimpton in Thailand, following the brand’s debut in 2020.
Opened in 2024, the 100-room Kimpton Khao Yai is located
in Pak Chong, a rural district on the northern outskirts of Khao Yai National Park. It will include 70 rooms and 30 pool villas with ancillary facilities such as a restaurant, meeting space, swimming pool, fitness center, spa and resort. The property is owned by Nusasiri Public Company Limited.

Kimpton Khao Yai will be part of the Nusa MyOzone Project, a 600-acre integrated resort that will include an 18-hole golf course, retail and leisure facilities including an organic farm, hotels and residences, as well as a private airport. The resort will be close to water parks, adventure theme parks, wineries and golf courses, as well as outdoor adventure experiences in Khao Yai National Park.
Kimpton is expanding throughout Asia, after openings in Taipei, Tokyo and Bangkok and now two other properties in Thailand in Samui and Khao Yai. The brand will also open a resort in Indonesia’s Nusa Dua beach area on the island of Bali.
IHG has 29 hotels across eight brands in Thailand and 34 other properties under development. The new signings are part of the company’s goal to double the size of IHG’s domain in Thailand over the next five years and to grow its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Thailand by 50%.
